ABOUT ME

 

Hi, I am Muna.  I’ve always had a deep love for writing and creativity, but the timing never seemed to be quite right to start this journey—until now.  I believe that a little kindness can go a long way and in my spare time, I cherish moments with my daughter, witnessing and celebrating her childhood.

Mental health forms the foundation of a healthy life, as it helps me understand life and situations more broadly and opens the door for “how” rather than “why”. My mental health journey started after the loss of my parents which made me more aware of my desolate nature. I realized that when facing life alone, taking care of my mental health can change my life for the better. We often get caught up in minor issues, neglecting the root causes. Why do we have to wait for something drastic to happen so we can start taking care of ourselves?

With the support of my writer friend, Diana, who shares my passion for mental health, I created this initiative. This platform was created to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues, provide practical guidance, inspire, and share personal stories. Here, everyone can feel heard and understood.
